When I was little I loved to dance, play make-believe, serve my dolls tea, and stretch my arms out wide. I loved Donny & Marie with a passion and adored my journal writing 4th grade teacher Mrs. Vingiano. We moved a month after 4th grade started and as I got older lots of things about me changed.
One of my parents was a high school drop-out (9th grade)
My parents are divorced.
My father found his "audience" in the barroom.
I have 5 strong and beautiful kids. Three sons who mean the absolute world to me. They are 20. 18, and 14. They do not have a relationship with their father. My two daughters are 6 and 3. They are silly and fun and it is their father who has taken care of us all over the past ten years.
I do not have a sister but I have the best brother in the world.
I don't have sweet boyfriend stories.
I love e-courses like this. They have been a life-saver!!
I have not gone passed my knees or frolicked in the ocean joyfully since 1975 when I saw JAWS at the age of 7. I kid you not. And the saddest part is I grew up across the street from the ocean and live on a peninsula. I cringe when my kids go past their waist. I cannot relax at the beach unless I'm alone.
I do not like wine but I like Sangria and Margarita's.
I never sat on a boy's shoulders wearing short shorts and a bikini top.
I like ice cream. Mocha Chip preferably.
I just saw 'Friends with Kids' and loved it.
I could take iphone pics all day long because of the apps.
My significant other is a neat freak. There's no bigger turn on for him say if he comes home and I have a bottle of windex in one hand and a paper towel in the other...I'm gonna get lucky.
When the kids are grown I'd like to live in a college town, put the car in the garage, and use my legs to get around town. Adult ed classes. I'm into it.
I love to write and started my blog well over a year ago but have had some lulls along the way.
Did I mention I'm a stay-at-home mom? No professional career (ever) but I do have an Associates Degree in Art from the local college.
I'm tired of hearing the question "what's for dinner?"
I wish I knew then what I know now...about myself and life.
I love Twitter.
I started writing a screenplay.
I'm a bit of writer.
I like mixed media too.
I once drew a self-portrait of myself and if I don't look Michael Jackson I don't know who does!
I tend to procrastinate.
I'm painfully quiet sometimes but won't stop "talking" here.
I've made mistakes.
My oldest son found out today he'll be stationed in Norfolk, VA for at least the next four years. He left for Bootcamp 6 months ago (US Navy) and I cannot begin to express how proud I am of him. He's one handsome sailor!
All in all, I really just wanna be a star. Look at me up there...I was gonna take on the world!
